  2. Osteomyelitis הוא שם כולל לסוגים השונים של דלקות עצם ומפרקים. שם זה כולל דלקות חיידקיות, ויראליות , דלקות משניות המתפתחות כתוצאה מזיהומים אחרים בגוף, ודלקות חיכוך (אינפלימיישן) – הנוצרות כתוצאה מזרימת דם לקויה למבנים הגרמיים . דלקת עצם שלא תטופל עשויה לגרום לקריסת העצם ולנמק.

  3. rtsi.lnga.lums הוא שמה של פורמולה טיבטית קלאסית, המורכבת מ 31 מרכיבים ומשמשת (בין היתר)לטיפול בדלקות עצם ומפרקים. יעילותה הרבה הוליכה 3 אוניברסיטאות לרפואה לערוך מחקרים אודות התרופה. במחקר נלקחו גורי עכברושים בני 5 שבועות שחלקם הודבקו בדלקת פרקים. הם חולקו ל 5 קבוצות שטופלו :בטיפול האמבטיה הטיבטי, / ב Dexamethasone / באמבטיות מים רגילים. לאורך המחקר נערך מעקב משקל לבדיקת גדילה והתפתחות ונערכו להם בדיקות דם וצילומי רנטגן.
