The main achievements as a result of participating in the program “Partners in learning” • Cooperation with mentor school and pathfinders: Participating in the International Festival of Mathematics and Computer Science • International Scientific- Practical Conference “SCIENTIA UNESCAMUS». • Holding video meetings and conferences systematically on the purpose of interaction with schools-partners.

  4. The students of the College showed us Piatra Neamt. It’s a small but rather lovely town in the Eastern Carpatians. It lays in the wonderful valley of the Bistrisa River, at the bottom of the Petricica and Cozla mountains.

  5. Piatra-Neamt is famous for its mountain skiing centre which is situated high in the mountains, where you can get by Telegondola and admire the beautiful view of the city from the top of the mountains.

  6. On our excursion around the National College we got to know much about some peculiarities in educational system, about various clubs the students and teachers of the college are involved into, about international projects which are also of great interest and significance.

  8. We took part in Mathematics Contest but, unfortunately, we didn’t get any prizes in personal section, because of essential differences in educational systems of our countries.

  9. But we were more successful in team section: one of our teams won in rather complicated contest. Here are our winners: Maria Chesalina(10 Form), VadimVasilyev(9 Form), Sergey Zakrytnoy(9 Form)

  10. A lot of officials came to welcome the participants of the Festival. Mayor of Piatra-Neamt was also among them. In solemn and friendly atmosphere we exchanged memorable presents.

  11. During the meeting members of Team#7 of the International Program ”Partners in Learning” worked out further strategy in cooperation and interaction, shared new ideas and defined the ways of realization of the mutual projects. Thank you very much to our mentor for support and direction!

  13. Our trip to TarguNeamt became a real gift! We were shown a mediaeval fortress, a monastery and a Zoo in the natural zone.

  14. We were demonstrated innovative approaches in studying school subjects such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

  16. Students of our Scientific Society introduced their scientific and research projects to the students and teachers of the National College.

  19. The way of scientific knowledge - one of the best roadsS.O. Schmidt • For several days our school has become an open area for interaction, communication and cooperation for the authors of scientific researches, project works and films-participants of the 1st International Scientific- Practical Conference “SCIENTIA UNESCAMUS».

The Conference-is the result of hard work of the whole pedagogical stuff of our school on implementing innovative directions of educational system which are connected with research activity and creative thinking of the students. But it has become International due to our participating in the program “Partners in learning”

  21. During this Conference two main events were held:-Contest of scientific and project works “SCIENTIA UNESCAMUS” -Cinema Festival of Children’s Short Film “GymCinFes”. All the works for the Contest and Festival were presented by the students and their leaders from Romania, Ukraine,Moscow and Moscow Region and some other cities of Russia.

  22. We tried to involve scientists, High School teachers, specialists from various branches of knowledge, experts. They had to study the Contest works by correspondence and during the stand session they got the opportunity to meet the authors of the works, ask them some questions and communicate with them.

  23. Results: • One the main results of the Conference is developingthe program of further cooperation and interaction as well as new mutual projects. For example, we have planned to hold two webinars at the end of May with our colleagues from Konotop (Ukraine) and Piatra-Neamt(Romania). We are going to discuss and choose the direction and the theme of our mutual research project of international range. • Another important achievement of the Conference is encouraging and involving more and more talented and active young people with creative thinking into research activities and motivating their interests in future scientific research. • The Conference confirmed that an open educational space of our school includes all possible resources which are necessary for determining and realizing new ideas, for giving the opportunities to form new directions in interaction, for mastering new skills, which can confidently be named as competitiveness of the students of the 21st century.

  25. Holding Video meetings systematically on the purpose of interaction with schools-partners May 22, 2012 3

  26. On the 22nd of May we held a video meeting on the results of the Conference ”SCIENTIA UNOCAMUS”. Students and teachers from Konotop Gymnasium and our Gymnasium took part in it. Some important issues of further interaction and cooperation between our gymnasiums were discussed during this event.

  27. Important issues of further interaction and cooperation : • participating in the International Scientific Forum in Konotop in autumn,2012. • determining the themes of mutual projects and research works • publishing one of the issues of popular scientific journal “Higgs Boson “ together • agreement on cooperation between our schools. These are one of the most important directions included in the Innovative Program of our School.
