Multimedia • Definition • Multimedia refers to technologies and applications that integrate different types of media, such as text, sound, video, computer graphic, animation • Benefits: • It makes things interesting and entertaining to the users, i.e. Enclocypedia Britannica, Encarta, VR (Virtual Reality)

  5. Text • Content descriptions • Graphical Text • Common file format: • .pdf (portable document format) • .doc (MS-Word document) • .rtf (rich text format) • .htm or .html (hypertext markup language or web files) English for ICT
