EN ESTE CASO NINGUN LABORATORIO EXCEDIO ESTE VALOR, EN CONSECUENCIA NO HUBO DATOS ANOMALOS

Horwitz, destacado miembro de la AOAC (Association of Official Analytical Chemists), recopiló por muchos años información que le permitió desarrollar la fórmula empírica, que lleva su nombre, la cual sirve de criterio para controlar la precisión de los análisis químicos realizados por un laboratorio. Esta fórmula es la siguiente: Donde c es la concentración expresado en forma adimensional También se usa la ecuación de Horwitz Modificada, que corresponde a 2/3 por la función original.
