  3. Overall “BEST PRACTICE” 2/10 Centres & 1/5 Centre in the 2nd Phase Centres

  4. 1st Recipients BASHI CENTRE, DASS L.G.A. BAUCHI STATE EVIDENCE OF STRONG FUTURE COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR SUSTAINABILITY Justification: • Community mobilization for extension of three classroom block through individual contribution and volunteer labour. • Organised a fund raising to extend and fence the centre – over N900,000+, computers, sewing machines and generator was realised.

BEST PRACTICES • Initiated a monthly meeting of para-legal workers to identify serious issues and take decision on the way forward. • Recorded the highest para –legal outings in all the 10 centres – 296. • Graduated 210 trainees – the highest of all the centres. • Recorded 2nd in community sensitization with an estimated number of 2519 women, men, youths, traditional and community stakeholders.

  6. 2nd Recipients WRAPA SKILLS AND COUNSELLING CENTRE, BILLIRI, BILLIRI L.G.A. GOMBE STATE “BEST PRACTICE”- Extensive community mobilization and sensitization/strong support by the Traditional Council and the Local Govt. Council JUSTIFICATION: • Highest turnout in the pre-establishment community advocacy organised by the emir of Billiri, HRH. Mai Tangle. • Mobilised all sons and daughters to donate for the centre with the highest donation totalling over n2.4 million.

Justifications • Recorded the highest community turn out for the commissioning of the centre. • Recorded the 2nd highest Para –legal outings in all the 10 centres – 235. • Highest community mobilization in advocacy/sensitization sessions. • Recorded 1st in community sensitization with an estimated number of 2869 women, men, youths, traditional & community stakeholders.

  8. 3rdRecipients ARAMOKO CENTRE, EKITI WEST LOCAL GOVT. EKITI STATE “BEST PRACTICE”- Traditional leaders support and Trainee initiative. JUSTIFICATION: • The Alara Of Aramoko, HRH. Oba Adegoke Adeyemi And His Council Participate In All Centre Activities. • The Alara permitted and Supported his wife to Head the Centre s the Supervisor.

  9. The Alara was also a Resource Person in the Value Component Sessions Conducted in the Centre. • The Community Purchased Land Worth N100.000 for the Permanent Centre Site. • The Centre Trainees Introduced Additional Skills In Beads and Hat Making for higher income generation.
