  9. Supplies: Thank you for sending in supplies in a prompt manner. We are always in need of Clorox wipes, pencils, tissues, and hand sanitizer. Please donate these items whenever you can! Planners: We use the planners on a daily basis. Please remember to check and sign your child’s planner nightly. The planner is a convenient way to communicate between the parent and teacher. Homework, behavior, and upcoming events are all recorded daily. If a planner becomes lost, a $5 fee replacement fee is charged.

  10. Homework!!! • Your child will receive homework on a nightly basis. Typically you can expect read for 20 minutes, a math practice page, and a spelling activity. Other homework assignments, such as reading & math OAA packets, science or social studies practice, will be given throughout the school year. • Research shows that having a homework routine is the best way to get your child to complete homework activities. A quiet, comfortable area without distractions at a specified time is ideal.

  11. Thank you for attending Open House! We are looking forward to a great school year. We have a lot to accomplish – targets to meet – and cannot do it without you! We greatly appreciate you stopping by to visit. Please take some time to browse your child’s classroom and write him/her a letter. If you have any questions, please ask! Third Grade Teachers
