  2. 1900’s In 1900 the model t cars came in four different cars, the touring car, the runabout, the coupe and the town car. They cost about $840! Marconi was one of the first people to discover the radio. Experimenting, he got a radio transmission to travel 1,700 miles. 76,000,000 Americans in 46 states. Auto deaths- 96. Earth quakes took seven hundred lives. Average worker made $12.98. Life expectancy female 47.3 male 46.3. Blacks 33. The very first electric washing machine was called the Hamilton Smith Rotary washing machine. It washed away dirt. The great plague came to America from Hong Kong immigrants who brought it over when they came to America.

  7. 1950’s In the world war 2 the Mike Test was a bomb blast that stretched 100 miles wide, and reached 25 miles high. The first type of snowmobile were snow buggies, they were used for races. Population-151,684,000 Unemployment-3,288 Life expectancy-male 65.6 female 71.1 Polio was a disease that attacked the nervous system. President Franklin D . Roosevelt died of it. The method that King’s team used to look at DNA was X-Ray detraction images.

  11. 1990’s Dolly was a cloned sheep. She was very popular but in the end her cells were older then her body and she died at seven. Population- 281,421,906 Average Salary- 13.37 per hour Minimum wage- 5.17 per hour Life expectancy- Male 73 Female 79 In the 1990’s scientists started to want cells for their research. In order to get cells they’d use abortion. People were angry about it and it started an ethical debate over stem cell research. The Inter National Space Station is not yet finished and it will take 133 space flights till it is finished. The spectral range of the Hubble Telescope 2.4 meters.
