It provides a sustainable Wi-Fi connectivity solution platform for all. It is preventive to narrow the division between rural and mainstream in India through technology. The lifemanship behind the initiative is to take digitalization into rural India, wherein lies the true summary of "Digital India". With the existing potential of roughly around 2.5 lakh villages and micro towns across India which have poor or nil access to the internet. MarcaTel will install the Wi-Fi towers and provide data to the consumer at a relevant speed as per the leased line. Once the subscriber is connected to our Wi-Fi network they can use all modern day applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Skype etc. MarcaTel goals is a non-range based Wi-Fi hotspot with a span range of a large section of a kilometer. Any gadget which has the capacity of associating with a Wi-Fi system can be utilized on the MarcaTel Network. The Marcatel solution is based on a technical copartnership with BLUETOWN, a Wi-Fi technology company based out of Denmark. These arrangements are now running effectively in African and some South American nations. In India Bluetown has already partnered with BSNL for some states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and the Andaman Islands. In this areas, it has already deployed over 150 installations successfully. MarcaTel Wi-Fi network solution uses radio waves and is deployed within the unlicensed spectrum over the 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) frequency bands. It is similar to cell phones and televisions, it connects to our wireless access point which directly connects to the Internet. The core of the MarcaTel solution is a base station powered 100% by solar energy. The base station installs a Wi-Fi hotspot with a range of up to one kilometer in diameter. The hotspot is connected to the internet by existing infrastructure such as microwave link and fiber, or by satellite, balloons or drones, bringing connectivity to even the most secluded areas of the world.
