  2. I born in Lebanon. • My life was very quiet despite having seven brothers and one sister. • My sister was everything to me. • I’m older by four years than her. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  3. My dad was a business man. He owned an encyclopaedias factory. • He employed 160 people in his factory. • My dad loved me so much, he would do anything for me. • He bought a lot of nice and expensive gifts. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  4. My mum was a very beautiful smart lady. She spent all her life for us. • She was a very clean, organised and peaceful lady. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  5. When I turned 15 I became engaged to educated man who was studying to be a doctor. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  6. Everything was perfect till the war started in 1974 in Beirut Lebanon, where we were. • So my husband and I left Beirut and went to Tripoli, east of Lebanon, to live. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  7. In 1979 I became pregnant, and still continued my work, until I had my baby boy in 1980. • Months later, the war become worse every where, even Tripoli. • But it was still the best place to live safely. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  8. Bombs were everywhere. • My son was distressed by the bombing and fighting around us. So we decided to travel to Australia. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

My husband had a big family here in Australia more then 3,000 people. • But no one cared for anyone else. • I suffered a lot in this country. • I felt I was losing my lovely family, feeling lonely, and wanting to do something. • I had bad luck especially with work, education, and that affected me.   10. In 1989 my husband, my 9 years old son and I had a big car accident. • We really suffered. My husband stayed more then 9 month in different hospitals . Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010

  11. My son suffered from shock from that accident and I had many injuries to my right leg. • Then last accident was in 2004 and a lot of things happened to me. Hassana Al-Kammati Certifcate 1 2010
