  7. About NEREG • Founded in 1998 (16 years ago) • Two doctors at that time, one office and one hospital • More than 25 doctors now, 18 offices and 13 hospitals • Around 100 team members

  8. About NEREG • More than 30,000 patients treated • Three level IV epilepsy centers • White Plains Hospital Center • Hackensack University Medical Center • Overlook Medical Center • Hundreds of epilepsy surgeries performed • Only Magnetoencephalogram in the area

  9. About NEREG • And most importantly, a great team of professionals and support staff dedicated to improve the lives of persons with epilepsy

  10. Today’s Program • Two Tracks • Epilepsy • PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures) • Epilepsy Track • One common session (until 10:45 AM—break) • Three different session (after 11 AM) • Epilepsy Treatment Options • Pediatric Epilepsy Issues • Adult Epilepsy Issues

  11. Credits • Continuing Education Credits for Nurses and EEG technologists. • Nursing: 5 contact hours approved by the New Jersey Nurses Association • EEG techs: 5 ASET Continuing Education Credits granted by the Neurodiagnostic Society
