Matthew 7:24-27

10. Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose,

11. Matthew 7:24-27 and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

12. Matthew 7:24-27 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

13. Matthew 7:24-27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

15. I am building my life on sand when I only listen to Jesus’ words.

16. I am building my life on rock when I do what Jesus said.

18. I am building my life on sand when I have “normal” relationships with others.

20. I am building my life on rock when I love others like Jesus does.

22. I am building my life on sand when I focus on the things of this world.

24. Matthew 6:33 Seek God’s kingdom first, and do what He wants. Then all these other things will be yours as well.

26. I am building my life on rock when I focus on following God.

28. I am building my life on sand when I go with the flow.

29. Matthew 6:13 The gate to destruction is wide, and the road that leads there is easy to follow. A lot of people go through that gate.

33. . I am building my life on sand when I depend on rituals and human approval.

35. Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.

36. Many will say to me on judgment day, “Lord, didn’t we preach in your name and cast out demons and perform miracles?” And I will tell them, “I never knew you. Get out of my sight, you evil people.”
