Which way do you go? • Your reconnaissance on Rome has provided the following information. -Roman navy is much more powerful than yours. -Rome has amassed much of their forces on the southern boot of Italy, a one week march from Rome. -Rome’s army is much larger than yours. -Very few forces along the northern border on the Alps.

  6. Result of the Punic War • Rome defeats Carthage • Rome now controls the Mediterranean Sea Complex. -Control trade routes=$ 3. Due to war the Roman navy has expanded, Rome Begins building an empire.
