  1. Update Oleksandr Ivanchenko PhD Advisor: Prof. Andreas Linninger Laboratory for Product and Process Design, Departments of Chemical and Bio-Engineering, University of Illinois, Chicago, IL, 60607, U.S.A. LPPD, 5/20/2010

  2. Achievements • Test and corrected linear Delphi code, Diffusion and Darcy, upwind, runbut; bc?. • Implementing with Nikhil and Test anisotropy DTI calculation for Delphi Diffusionlinear. • - Escape presentation and extended article draft are completed. • Developed and tested new DTI stitching program (Matlab 2D/3D) using new data format; file size is reduced in three times, run just one program not four. • Tested dual channel catheters again in the gel and dog brain. Setup an experiment for extended article LPPD, 2010

  3. Diffusion // fake anisotropy // dxx:=0.002; dyx:=0.00002; dyy:=0.02; // ALEX CHANGE FOR DIRICLET BC // AA[bVol,bVol]:=1; // for wall and axes=0; //makeJacobianEquation(AA, bVol, expr); LPPD, 2010

  4. Darcy LPPD, 2010

  5. LPPD, 2010

  6. Dog brain LPPD, 2010

  7. Spring 2010 Semester Research Plan • Oleksandr Ivanchenko, PhD Advisor: Prof. Andreas A Linninger • Main goals: • Diffusion tensor implementation and catheter placement (Escape extended article and presentation) • Poro-elasticity theory and code development (probably article) • Delphi code studying and testing, moving mesh • Other goals: • Proposal RO1 • Discloser about dual action catheter • Pulsating flow simulation and experimental setup • Compose and submit article with Nikhil and Eric. • Advice in experimental research grad and undergrad students • Correction and review for articles • Side activity LPPD, 2010
