  1. Why Should Resin Driveway Be Your Choice?

  2. When deciding on the type of material to use for your new driveway, sometimes the available choices can be overwhelming. One of the popular choices amongst homeowners is the Resin bound and resin bonded driveway types. Both of these resin driveway types are very similar and act very much in the same manner. The only difference between the two is - Resin Bonded Driveway- in this, the aggregate is scattered onto the Resin and then sealed. This provides a non-porous surface, which means that water cannot filter through it. Resin Bound Driveway- here the Resin is being mixed with the aggregate. Here the surface is porous: this allows the water to filter through it back into the ground.

  3. The reasons for choosing a Resin bonded/bound driveway over any other type of driveway are: Anti-slip surface One of the most significant advantages of this type of driveway is that its surface is non-slippery. This is due to its high resistant to fuel spills, oil, and water. However, the smoothness may slightly differ between Resin bonded driveways and resin bound alternatives, but both of them are anti-slip. Therefore the choice may only vary based on how smooth you want the surface of your driveway to be. Durability The resin driveways last you many years, as the materials used in these driveways are incredibly durable. In fact, they have a longer life span as compared to any other type of driveway material. In addition to this is the benefit of the driveway having a much more pleasant and clean feel.

  4. Easy to apply A little preparation is required to prepare the surface onto which the resin mixture can be applied. Once the surface is prepared, the application of the resin aggregate gets incredibly quick and easy. Highly affordable If you’re working on a tight budget, then it makes a lot of sense to choose Resin bonded/bound driveways. Apart from its excellent non-slip surface, it is also one of the most affordable and cost-effective driveway options.
