  1. Module 5: Regional Programs December 1 Child Count

Tuition Reimbursement Divisions can request tuition reimbursement for students receiving services at a regional program. • Summer semester claims for services provided July 1-August 31 of the reporting school year are submitted with this December 1 Child Count. • First semester claims for services provided September 1-January 31 of the reporting school year are submitted with the subsequent March 31 Student Record Collection (SRC). • Second Semester claims for services provided February 1 - June 30 of reporting school year will be submitted with the end of year (EOY) SRC.

  3. Reimbursement claims can be made for these disability codes: • Autism • Deaf-blindness • Emotional Disability • Hearing Impairment • Multiple Disability • Traumatic Brain Injury

Reporting Students Enrolled inRegional Programs When reporting regional program students, use the: • Three (3) digit regional program code for the serving division, • Four (4) digit school code for the regional program, and • Tuition paid code 4 • Divisions can use an N Record when claiming summer reimbursement for students who were enrolled during the summer, but who are no longer enrolled as of December 1.

  5. Reporting Students Enrolled inRegional Programs (continued) • Report the disability claim monetary amount in the regional tuition disability field. A smaller claim would likely be made when the regional tuition disability is the secondary disability or tertiary disability. • For non-reimbursable disability codes, enter zero (0) for the dollar amount.
