  7. Location College libraries are usually located at the center of the campus. They are a convenient place to go between classes.

  8. Don’t be hesitant (or frightened) to use the college library.

  16. Databases • Quickly sort through thousands of records to identify articles or books on a topic. • Citations, abstracts, and full-text articles • Access from off-campus with a username and password • Example from CSUN

  17. Advice • Always start your research at the library home page. • Find the section of the library containing materials of special interest to your class or major. • Browse the shelves, handle the books. • Find a table, carrel, or comfortable lounge chair. • Ask a librarian for information.
