  1. MAGNET: University as a key partner of NETwork for vocational educational training centers of Middle Age Generation in Uzbekistan Partner 10. NukSPI - Nukus state pedagogical institute

  2. Nukus state pedagogical institute named after Ajiniyaz has been working under this name since 1934, in 1990 it was re-established. There are 9 faculties, master’s and 26 departments, where 438 teachers are working. Nowadays there are 5544 students studying at the institute, including 5554 students in 22 bachelors directions, 48 students in 8 master’s specialities.

  3. There are 4 academic lyceums near the institute, different centers and clubs like Information Resource Center, IT Center, Publishing Department, “Science and Society” journal, Language learning center, “Tumaris“ ensemble, Sport clu", “Chevar qo’llar" sewing center.

  4. EU grants • On October 2016 for the first time, our institute became a participant of 2 projects of Erasmus+ program of EU: • 574097-EPP-1-2016-1-CY-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “RUECVET: Piloting ECVET to the national VET system of Russia and Uzbekistan • 2. 574253 –EPP-1-2016-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “MAGNET: University as a key partner of NETwork for vocational educational training centers of Middle Age Generation in Uzbekistan

  5. Project team • The executive group of MAGNET project was organized on the basis of the rector’s order in 16th of January in 2017: 1. Q.Qodirov – vice rector on spiritual-enlightenment works - Coordinator 2. A.Tureniyazova – head of the Department of Methodology of Teaching Informatics – technical leader 3. X.Atadjanov – head of Department of Development and Implementation of educational recourses- executor 4. A.Allambergenov – deputy chief accountant – executor 5. A. Borasheva – assistant teacher of the department of foreign languages - executor 6. J.Urazimbetov - assistant teacher of the Department of Methodology of Teaching Informatics – executor

Responcibilities in the project Q.Qodirov–to execute, in cooperation with Mahalla and Ministry of Labour of RK,the project activity, organize work of Career Centre in NukSPI, and select the trainers, to execute the process of monitoring of the controlling project quality of the career centers activities and to present the report to the monitoring committee, to support the inner-system of Career centre, to participate in managing material security and project management according his authority and to prepare a report according to the results A.Tureniyazova – technical assistance in communication with partners and networking, organization of project activity, including formation of the methodological base and organization of training courses in career centre, different kinds of arrangements and preparation of reports, dissemination of project results.

  7. X.Atadjanov – as a Deputy of regional People’s Council, will be assisting in identification of needs of the local population, in contact with the local government bodies and Mahalla, contribute to development of methodical materials, organize round tables and trainings. • A.Allambergenov– as a former vice khokim on work with entrepreneurs, will be assisting in consultations and organization of business trainings and development of business plans. • A.Borasheva – translation of the project documents and interpretation. • J.Urazimbetov- organization of trainings on computer literacy, Web support of the project, technical administration of work of the Career Center in NukSPI.
