Surita Karamsingh Managing Associate, Leadership Development Solutions Malaysia Previously, Ms. Karamsingh spent five years at Maxis Communications Bhd.’s human resources division, where she ended her tenure leading career progression and development initiatives. She co-designed the pilot “Maxis Core Competencies” used in the initial performance management system and was instrumental in the development of the company’s initial succession planning program. She began her career as a training and development officer at Advanced Micro Devices Sdn. Bhd. in Penang. Ms. Karamsingh holds a B.A. in Social Science with a dual major in Social Anthropology and Journalism from Deakin University in Australia. Ms. Surita Karamsingh joined Korn/Ferry International’s Kuala Lumpur office in 2006. In her role as Managing Associate helping to build the Firm’s Leadership Development Solutions business across ASEAN, she leverages over fifteen years’ worth of experience in various employee training and career development positions in Malaysia. Before Korn/Ferry, she spent six years as a senior consultant for Hewitt Southeast Asia’s talent, leadership and engagement practice while also leading their Malaysian engagement/employee communications practice. There, she advised clients from multiple industries on how to strategically tie their employee development programs to their overall brand identity. Specifically, she oversaw the biennial “Best Employer in Malaysia” studies.
