Mark Adams—Co-founder, President, and CEO of SOZO Global, Inc.—is an Austin, TX based serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist. After graduating from Texas State University (then Southwest Texas State) in 1985, Mark Adams worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble. In 2003, Mark Adams founded a medical malpractice liability insurance company called Advocate MD where he served as President and CEO until it was eventually purchased by The Doctors Company, largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurer in the U.S. Mark Adams won the 2008 Ernst& Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in central Texas after growing Advocate MD into the third largest medical malpractice insurer in Texas over just 5 years. Over the past decade, Mark Adams has helped launch over a half-dozen small business, all of which remain in business today. With President and CEO Mark Adams, SOZO has grown into a multinational corporation that is rapidly expanding across Asia.
