  1. Kindergarten Information Night January 28, 2019 (Snow Date: February 4, 2019) 7:00 p.m. Washington-Lee High School Families will learn about the registration process and about their neighborhood and option schools for the 2019-20 school year.

Winter Weather Reminders • Review today’s APS School Talk message • Make child care plans in advance • Delays or closings are announced by 5am • New This Year: If AM storm time is uncertain, new 2-Phase announcements: 6p.m. Delay + 6a.m. Update • Early dismissals announced by about 11am • 1st Updates on APS website & Social Media • Also check APS School Talk email/text, social media, and local TV channels • APS Hotline (Eng./Sp.) at 703-228-4277

  11. 2018-19 School Board Action Plan • 2018 Fall Ten-Year Enrollment Projections • Monitoring Report at the January 24 School Board Meeting • Annual Enrollment Projections Report will be released in January and will reflect the new elementary school boundaries adopted on Dec. 6, 2018 • The report will also include the updated methodology for the 2019-28 projections • The enrollment projections include input from multiple stakeholders, including: • APS departments and principals • Arlington County staff • Consultant on projections approach • School Board Advisory Committees
