Legislative Revisions to FCPA • In 2010, Act 2010-765 enacted to prohibit PAC-to-PAC and other transfers • In 2011, two acts were approved by the Legislature to further amend the FCPA: • Act2011-687 requires more frequent filing of campaign reports and (for 2014) electronic filing. • Act 2011-697 relates to reporting obligations for “electioneering communication” political ads.

Legislative Revisions to FCPA (cont.) • In 2012, three acts were approved by the Legislature to further amend the FCPA: • Act2012-477 (SB 497) further revises the frequency for filing disclosure reports after 2012. • Act 2012-461 (SB 11) establishes disclaimer requirements for automated telephone calls (robocalls) involving political campaigns. • Act 2012-358 (SJR 97) establishes Study Committee on Campaign Finance Reform.
