  2. Describing People For many adjectives, we use forms of the verb “ser” to be. Yo soy=I am Túeres= You are Él, Ella, Ustedes= He is, She is, You are Nosotrossomos= we are Ellos/Ellas son= they are Ustedes son= You all are

  3. Adjectives in Spanish. Some adjectives in Spanish change depending on whether you are describing a male or female. Marta esalta. Marta is tall. Marcos es alto. Marcos is tall. Pablo esbajo. Pablo is short. Patiesbaja. Pati is short.

  4. Adjectives in Spanish. Some adjectives in Spanish do NOT change depending on whether you are describing a male or female. Marta esinteligente. Pablo esinteligente.

  5. To say that someone is NOT something, add “No” in front of the verb. Marta no esbaja. Marta is not short. Pablo no es alto. Pablo is not tall.
