Significance • The physical dimension: • Fitness Center features state-of-the-art equipments and full-time trainers • The social dimension: • The intellectual dimension: • Host classes from SD Community College in everything from music appreciation to current events • The spiritual dimension: • Gardens to provide the ideal setting for meditation and spiritual experiences

  5. Green Committee • Dinning Room Manager is nursing a bin of worms, whose output will soon be fed to plants. The kitchen staff is placing vegetable and fruit waste into five bins and Environmental manager and his helpers are adding garden waste

  6. Pros: White Sands focuses on guests’ health and wellbeing by offering healthy and fresh meals, so they would consider hiring a sustainable landscaping company for consulting. They also organized a green committee • Cons: Most of the gardens are resident-tended gardens. Residents may not be interested in hiring a landscaping services company because they want to manage their gardens by themselves
