  3. Social Alienation Social alienation results when tension is created between individuals and the people around them. This tension is usually between two otherwise compatible things.

  4. Determinant The overabundance of stress can cause the feeling of estrangement and alienation. Also, the idea that one’s personal problems are being ignored by peers also may render the feeling of alienation.
