3. ความหมายของ Plagiarism • “การขโมยความคิด คัดลอกผลงาน หรือบทประพันธ์” • “การโจรกรรมหรือขโมยผลงานวรรรกรรม การนำเสนอ โดยการคัดลอก ลอกเลียนซึ่งคำ ข้อความ แนวคิด หรือวิธีการบุคคลอื่นและแอบอ้างว่า คำ ข้อความ แนวคิด หรือวิธีการเหล่านั้นเป็นของตนเองโดยมิได้แจ้งหรืออ้างถึงแหล่งที่มาของข้อมูลนั้น” • องค์ประกอบที่สำคัญของ Plagiarism • การนำคำพูดข้อความ เนื้อหาผลงานหรือแนวคิดวิธีการจากแหล่งข้อมูลหรือแหล่งที่มา • ไม่มีการแจ้งหรือบอกอ้างอิงถึงแหล่งที่มาของคำพูดข้อความ เนื้อหาผลงานหรือแนวคิดวิธีการที่หยิบยกมาใช้ในผลงานของตนเอง

4. ชนิดของ Plagiarism • การทำซ้ำงานเดิม (Duplicate Publication) • การนำงานวิจัยที่เคยร่วมทีมวิจัยอยู่มา recycle (Self Plagiarism) • คัดลอก ลอกเลียน ในส่วนวิธีการวิจัยแต่ใช้ข้อมูลใหม่ (Direct copying of methods section with new data inserted) • ไม่อ้างอิงแหล่งที่มา หรือ ยกข้อความมาใช้เกินสมควร (Uncited OR excessive extracts)

5. ผลกระทบจาก Plagiarism • แนวคิด วิธีการ หรือ ผลงานที่เกิดจากการสรรสร้างของนักวิจัย (Researcher’s ideas) • บิดเบือนหรือปกปิดบุคคลซึ่งเป็นผู้ริเริ่ม ค้นพบหรือสรรสร้างในวิธีการหรือผลการวิจัยที่แท้จริงนั้น • นำเสนอข้อมูลเท็จสู่ระบบงานวิจัยทางวิทยาศาสตร์ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของข้อเท็จจริง • การได้รับการยกย่องให้คุณค่า และบันทึกถึงเจ้าของแนวคิดหรือต้นกำเนิดของแนวคิดที่แท้จริง (Credit)

Anti-Plagiarism Software คืออะไร โปรแกรมหรือซอฟต์แวร์ที่ใช้เป็นเครื่องมือช่วยในการตรวจจับ ตรวจสอบ การโจรกรรมวรรณกรรมหรือผลงานวิจัย โดยการเปรียบเทียบความเหมือนกันของคำ ข้อความ ประโยคของผลงานที่ต้องการตรวจสอบกับผลงานอื่นที่เคยทำไว้แล้ว และจัดเก็บไว้ในฐานข้อมูลของซอฟต์แวร์นั้นและข้อมูลบนอินเทอร์เน็ต และรายงานผลการตรวจสอบเป็นเปอร์เซ็นของความเหมือนกันของข้อความตามลำดับมากน้อย และเน้นข้อความหรือส่วนที่ต้องสงสัยที่ตรวจสอบพบว่าเหมือนกันให้เห็นเด่นชัดด้วยสีที่แตกต่างกัน เพื่อประกอบการตัดสินใจในการดำเนินการใดๆต่อไป

8. Turnitinคืออะไร • Turnitinคือ หนึ่งในกลุ่มซอฟต์แวร์ของWriteCycleซึ่งให้ทั้งผู้สอนและนักศึกษา ประเมินและให้คะแนนผลงานของนักศึกษาผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต • WriteCycleประกอบด้วย • Originality Report – Turnitin plagiarism detection • PeerMark – students peer reviewing each others’ work • GradeMark – online grading and ability to data-mine information
