  2. Starting From The Start • www.ccsafetynet.org • Choose type of member you’d like to become • 1. Partner Agency- A Non-Profit, NGO, Faith-Based Organization who directly provides social services to the community. i.e. food banks, mental health providers, homeless shelters • 2. Individual Member- An Individual who is not affiliated with any particular social service agency but still provides referrals to low-income community residents. i.e.- Private Practice Social Worker; Educators; Medical Professionals; Consultants • 3. Supporting Partner- Bank, grant provider or other community stakeholder or member who supports the alliance through contribution of funds or volunteers without offering any specific tangible goods/services to the social service community.

What Can I Do On The Portal? • Learn-You can read an alert-it will also directly go to your email • Inform- You can post an alert-it will go to all of those who subscribe • Research- You can look up a resource-interested in something specific, look up under keyword • Save Time -You can refer someone-search multiple agencies to provide a one stop resource to your clients. • Network-You can discuss a relevant social service news issue • Update-You can inform the community on updates to your organization or service

Membership is free for the first year. (Future fees will be nominal) • 4. Do Safety Net partner agencies share client info? No. We all give info to clients, not about them.

Requests to you • Join, share with your agency and colleagues • Network with the community and learn about how you can efficiently work together on solving the most common issues to Clermont County • Join a subcommittee • Pass on the information with anyone you’d like to invite to the general body meetings. Guests and new members are welcome to attend. • Check us out on Facebook Clermont County Safety Net Alliance Facebook Please do not share any member lists or information without permission also please do not solicit on either Facebook or the portal any events that are organization specific. Ask the question-Would this event benefit the members of the alliance?-before posting.

Collaboration • Only works if you make it • Cooperate with your fellow community members • You may be fighting for similar resources but as a collaboration, our goal is to uplift the community • Working together on similar projects with a community member and applying for funding as a collaborative is usually more successful than one group going at it alone.
