  5. School facilities • Playgrounds • Gyms • Library • School canteen • Snack bar or buffet • Classrooms and special classrooms - laboratories for teaching IT, chemistry, physics, biology, foreign languages… • Life at dormitory

  6. School uniform • no problems with clothes, all the same, looks nice but some are too out-of-date

  7. Holiday and school trips • Holiday: autumn, winter, Easter, academic week, national days

  8. Differences between education in SVK and UK • their classes start at 9 am and finish at 3.30 pm. It’s because activities like tennis, art, pottery, football, etc. are included in their timetable as well as an hour for lunch • single-sex schools • in the UK university students normally study 3 years for a Baccalor degree and 4 years for Master degree • most British universities use three-term system, while in Slovakia two, split into winter and summer terms
