  2. Topic 1: Seeing-off Background Information When you have a travel by air, you need to go through the security. There are some useful expressions related with it: 安全检查,安检Security check 安检人员,治安保卫人员Security personnel

Topic 1: Seeing-off Situational Dialogue The tour guide helps the Whites’ to check out, reminds them to take their own items including their travel certificates, asks them to check whether there is something for the local guide to deal with after their departure, and warns them to take care of their valuables. After all the members get on, she asks their driver to drive for the airport. (A: Zhang Li B: Mr. White C: Mrs. White) A:How time flies! You’ve been in China for seven days. It seems as if it were only yesterday when I went to meet you at the airport. And now you are leaving.

If anything undesirable happens at the last minute, it may ruin the entire experience of the tour. Therefore, a qualified tour guide should be thoughtful and enthusiastic throughout his or her service and try to make a farewell experience impressive and everlasting. A farewell speech, formal or informal, is often necessary.
