  1. “Passage Pass Overs” "Passage Pass Overs"

  2. Introduction • On any subject, it is important to seek all the truth • A good tool is a Bible concordance, which lists all the passages in scripture where a word we are studying appears • If we consider every passage in its context, we have all God wanted us to know about the subject • Example - repentance, the Church, baptism, salvation • It is easy to overlook certain parts of passages and this is sometimes done to avoid the truth • Let us seek “all the counsel of God” on any Bible subject "Passage Pass Overs"

  3. Acts 20:26-27 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. "Passage Pass Overs"

  5. The “Baptized” of Acts 16:30-34 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house. 7. “Divorce” in Matthew 19:3-9 3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? 8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
