  2. Geography • New York is in the northeastern U.S • There are 5 suburbs that make up New York City • The five suburbs of New York City are The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Islands

Population • New York City is the biggest city in the U.S • The total population of the city is 8,214,426 people in a 468.9 mile radius • Bronx population is 1,357,589 • Manhattan population is 1,537,195 • Brooklyn population is 2,465,326 • Queens population is 2,229,379 • And Staten Islands population is 463,614

  4. Temperature • The average temperature of New York during the winter is about 10-45 degrees • During the summer it is around 50-85 degrees • During the spring it is 16-60 degrees • And for the fall it is about 30-70 degrees
