  6. Just Right Scale: (1-5) This book is a 2 for me, on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is easy to read, and 5 is hard to read.

  7. What attracted me to the book? What attracted me to this book was that it was on my Breakfast Book Club list, so I chose to do my book talk on it.

  8. What did I like in the book? What I liked in the book was that Lawn Boy made lots of money and learned a lot from it.

  9. What didn’t I like or would change in the story? John Bob What I didn’t like in the story was that the Lawn Boy didn’t have a normal name. Everything else in the book was fine. Dave Joe

  10. Other books by the author: Gary Paulsen has written many other books and some of them are: The Winter Room, The Hatchet, and A Dogsong.

  11. Information about the author: The author of this book, Gary Paulsen, was born in 1939, and when he was 14 he ran away from home and joined a carnival. He is now 70 years old, and in addition to being a writer for young readers, he participated in the Iditarod dog sled race.

  12. Would I recommend this book? To who? Why? I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to start a job on their own and learn how it works.

  13. Favorite part of the book: My favorite part of the book is on page 76. This section is about the first time that Lawn Boy tells his parents about the prizefighter that he sponsors. “Yeah, that’s him. His name is Joseph Powdermilk.” ….. So I told them the whole story. Fast.

  14. Closing: This book has a very exciting and surprising ending. You will have to read it to see what happens.
