  3. My name is Mia. I am 14 years old. I live in New York with my mom. My mother is an artist. We have a cat named Fat Louie. Fat Louie Helen, my mother.

  4. My parents never got married, they broke up the relationship before I was born. My father lives in Genovia. Philippe Renaldo, my father. Prince of Genovia.

  5. I have a good friend whose name is Lilly. Lilly’s parents are all doctors. Lilly has a brother named Michael. Lilly Lilly’s parents. Michael, Lilly’s brother.

  6. Sep. 23, Tue. I found my mom is dating with my teacher. One day, the teacher even told me that he loves my mom very much, he hoped that I could agree with their dating. Frank Gianini, my algebra teacher.

  8. One day, my father rang. He said that he is the Prince of Genovia. He told us he cannot have babies anymore. So, he wants me to be the Princess of Genovia and rule the country. Princess of Genovia

  12. Oct. 3, Fri. I had an algebra class, but I didn’t listen. I was thinking about “the princess”. After school, I went to Lilly’s home. I feel comfortable there. I felt comfortable at Lilly’s home, I talked with her anf her parents.

  14. Oct. 4, Sat. When I got home, my father said he wanted to talk to me. I refused at first. My father then put a document on the desk. My parents said that they had make things easier. They wanted me to sign the paper. The document said I could stay at the original school. But I have to spend my Christmas holiday and summer days in Genovia. And I have to be the princess and be the ruler of Genovia when my father died.

  15. Oct. 4, Saturday. It’s Saturday night, I stayed at home with my dad. My mom went out to date with my teacher. Oct. 5, Sunday. I didn’t go to the Algebra class on Friday.   17. Oct. 9, Thr. Grandma is here to give me the princess class! Oct. 10, Fri. I went to Grandma’s hotel. She told me to come tomorrow, and put the lipstick on. Grandma told me that the color of my lipstick was wrong. Oct. 11, Sat. I called Lilly this morning, and told her that I cannot go to her home today because I have to spend the day with my grandma.

  19. Oct. 11, Sat. I called Lilly this morning, and told her that I cannot go to her home today because I have to spend the day with my grandma. Grandma took me to the hair salon. When I looked at the mirror, I can’t believe that was me!

  20. Oct. 11, Sat. Because I didn’t go to Lilly’s home tonight and help her with the film, she was angry. And we had an argument. Oct. 12, Sun. I saw my mom and my teacher were at the table in the kitchen this morning. It was embarrassing. When I went back to my room and turned on the computer, I received a letter from Michael. He wants to help me with the Algebra assignment.

  21. Chapter 7 A New Friend

  22. Tina and her bodyguard, Mr.Wahim. Oct. 13, Mon. I usually have lunch with Lilly, but today I had lunch with Tina. Tina always has a bodyguard with her because she has a wealthy family, her parents want to protect Tina from kidnapping.

  23. Oct. 13, Mon. Tina and I talked about the party when we had lunch. Lena came to say something bad and that hurt Tina. So I put ice cream on Lena’s sweater. And then I was sent to the Principle’s. Principal gave me a week’s detention. Tina and I talked about the party.

  24. Oct. 14, Tue. Tina and I became good friends. She told me that her parents invited me to dinner on Friday.

  25. Chapter 8 In the News

  26. Oct. 15, Wed. I can’t believe that Josh talked to me this morning! But I know why after seeing the Principle. I was on the report! And the principle ask my father to come to school. The principle ask my father to come to school.

  27. Oct. 15, Wed. I had lunch with Tina, and we chatted. When Michael taught me Algebra in the late afternoon, we had a talk, and Tina joined, too.

  28. Chapter 9 I'm Famous!

  29. Oct. 15, Wed. When I left school this afternoon, there were reporters. Lars helped me to get in the car. When I arrived at home, my father and mother had a quarrel about who is the one that call the reporters.

  30. Oct. 16, Thr. In the afternoon, I went to dinner with grandma. And I found that grandma is the one who call the reporters! I was on the cover of the News paper!

  31. Chapter 10 My First Date

  32. Oct. 17, Fri. Josh and Lana have broken up! After the first lesson, Josh came to me and ask me to date with him. Tonight I went to Tina’s place to have dinner. Her parents are really nice!

  33. Oct. 18, Sat. My teacher and mother tried to persuade me not to go out with Josh. But grandma agreed, and I am going to shopping with her. Oct. 18, Sat. Josh promised to pick me up at seven, but he is late. When we arrived at the restaurant, Josh ordered steaks for me, but I don’t eat meat. We didn’t talk much during the meal, Josh drank a lot of champagne.

  34. Chapter 11 The Wrong Kind of Boy

  35. Oct. 18, Sat. Josh kissed me in front of the reporters! I was so embarrassed! And I found out the truth that he wants to date with me just because I am a princess. He didn’t love me so I broke up with him.

  36. Oct. 19, Sun. Last night, after the quarrel with Josh, I went to the girl’s room. Lilly and Tina came to comfort me. I feel better, and then I danced with Michael. Oct. 19, Sun. In the afternoon, I went to the roof with my family. We had a good time there. At that time, I think being a princess is not so bad! I danced with Michael and I felt great. Michael is really nice.
