Matt Frauenshuh began running his familyu2019s Dairy Queen franchises. What started in 2002 as one DQ Grill & Chill in Minnesota under the family company, Fourteen Foods, would grow to 240 Dairy Queen restaurants throughout 13 states. Matt is the Chief Executive Officer for Fourteen Foods and also serves as Principal for Frauenshuh Inc. Fourteen Foods is now the largest DQ franchise in the U.S.

  2. Leadership as CEO Matt Frauenshuh joined his family’s Dairy Queen franchises in 2006 when the group comprised only seven stores across the country. The family business, Fourteen Foods, continues to grow and thrive under his leadership as CEO. He is also Principal of Frauenshuh Inc., which was founded in 2002.

  3. Largest Dairy Queen Franchise The family business has become the largest Dairy Queen franchise in the U.S. Matt is an avid philanthropist and gives of his time and money to Fold of Honor which supports the spouses and children of American service members.

  4. Extensive Education Matt Frauenshuh has an extensive education which includes an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. A resident of Franklin, Tennessee, he has been key to the success of his family’s business, Fourteen Foods. Since his ascension to CEO in 2006, the family’s 7 DQ Grill & Chill franchises have grown to over 240 restaurants, employing 9,000 team members.

  5. Degree in Business Economics Matt Frauenshuh lives in Tennessee and believes in family before all else. In 2006, he stepped into a leadership role in the family business and would lead Fourteen Foods to become the largest Dairy Queen Franchisee in the United States. Matt has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from St. Olaf College. Matt is on the national board for The Salvation Army.
