  1. Matthew Tercsak: Three Key Marketing Principles Before You Make a Single Ad

  2. Matthew Tercsak has taken the marketing of his small business, a glass shop in Orlando, seriously since he founded Mystik, Inc. in 1995. Tercsak is a small business owner and a martial arts enthusiast who knows the meaning of dedication. He has earned black belts in Okinawa Kempo, Muay Thai, Jeet Kun Do, and more. He has worked as an instructor at the Pennsylvania Karate Academy. He even traveled to Thailand where he was tattooed by a Buddhist monk in the traditional style of SakYant at an ancient temple a few hours outside of Bangkok. He built his marketing strategy by starting with these three essential principles.

  3. Identify your target audience Identifying your target audience means understanding who you are selling to. Who would be most interested in your products or services? Once you understand who will be willing to buy your products or services, you can start crafting a marketing message.

  4. Create your brand Your brand is how your customers see your business. Pepsi doesn’t sell billions of soft drinks every day because everyone loves the taste, they sell because people recognize the Pepsi brand and see it as a quality product. You have to craft your brand identity to be synonymous with quality.

  5. Make your products and services indispensable Your products and services should be high quality so you can sell them to your target market. Matthew Tercsak shifted his business’s focus from clothing to glass products because he felt he could offer higher quality glass pieces to his target audience.

  6. Matthew Tercsak is watching his marketing services take his sales to new levels at Mystik, Inc.
