  • Not ignorant of his schemes - 2 Corinthians 2:11 (NLT) 11  so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.

  • 1 John 2:15-16 (NLT) 15  Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16  For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. (2 Cor. 4:4 – Satan, the god of this world)

  • Whoever believes will not perish but have eternal life

  • Jesus came, not to condemn the world, but to save the world
