  24. CHAPTER 1 -Main points • Sara Crewe is a very rich little girl .Her father takes her to Miss Minchin’s school in London. Then he goes back to his work in India. [ their home land]. - On her way to London, Sara was thinking about their house in India and the hot sun and the blue sky.

  29. -One day Miss Minchin’s lawyer came to visit her. He told her that there were no diamonds in the mines and Mr. Crewe’s friend ran away with all the money. -Mr. Crewe was ill with a fever, and when he heard about this, he got worse and died. ************
