From neutrino to wine… To minimize the intrinsic radioctivity of the detector, all materials have been selected usinggermanium photon detectors of very low level natural radioactivity With such detectors : measurement of 137Cs in wine Activity 137Cs (mBq/l) Nuclear fallout Tchernobyl Activity137Cs  year

  10. Bordeaux 1964 Bordeaux 2003 Bourgogne 1934 Presence of 137Cs in the Bourgogne bottle ! Not 1934 but later then 1950 (activity ~100 mBq/l)
