  1. “Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country”-JFK • What does this quote mean? • Why is it so important? Many may ask these questions but few know the importance behind this quote.

  2. In 1961 • When JFK presented this speech with the quote stated, the nation was going through a recession as we are now. In 1961 his speeches persuaded people into helping the country come together as one to help fight the recession.

  3. During this period, and today There was many diseases and crisis going on such as poverty, tyranny, diseases, and war. If you look at our country today we have many diseases active, poverty rates are rising, and we are still have soldiers over seas.

  4. Today, many of us take everything for granted. As our country is in a recession, many of us still ask for more when our country gives us a lot of advantages. Times like we are in now, shouldn’t we be helping each other by becoming one strong nation instead of fighting against each other?

  5. If president Obama would create a speech like JFK, persuading the people, and actually improving the country I believe the country would become stronger and a better place.
