PROGRESS AND CHALLENGES Risk Management Committee independent Chairperson and member/s not appointed • North West Transport Investment, North West Gambling Board, Golden Leopard Resorts, Mmabana, North West Parks Board and North West Development Corporations Risk Management and Fraud Policies, Strategies and Plans not reviewed and approved before the start of the new financial year • All Departments except Department of Finance • All Public Entities Together moving Bokone Bophirima.

PROGRESS AND CHALLENGES Strategic risk assessment not done together with planning • North West Transport Investment, North West Parks Board, North West Development Corporations and Mmabana and Golden Leopard Resorts Annual Performance Plans not submitted for approval to North West Provincial Legislature together with the final draft Strategic Risk Registers • Education and Sports Development, Health, Finance, Community Safety and Transport Management, Social Development • North West Transport Investment, North West Parks Board, North West Development Corporations, North West Tourism Board, Mmabana and Golden Leopard Resorts Together moving Bokone Bophirima.

PROGRESS AND CHALLENGES Fraud awareness not done • Office of the Premier, Department of Education and Sports Development and North West Provincial Legislature • All public entities except North West Tourism Board Accounting Officer, Management, Other Officials and Risk Management Committee members not capacitated in terms of risk management • Office of the Premier, North West Provincial Legislature, Health, Local Government and Human Settlements, Economic and Enterprise Development • North West Transport Investment, North West Parks Board, North West Development Corporations, Golden Leopard Resorts and Mmabana Together moving Bokone Bophirima.

PROGRESS AND CHALLENGES Non/ late submission of quarterly Risk Management progress report • Office of the Premier, North West Provincial Legislature, Education and Sports Development, Economic and Enterprise Development and Tourism • North West Parks Board, North West Tourism Board, North West Development Corporations, Dirapeng Golden Leopard Resorts Non/ late response to HOD/CEO letters and questionnaire • Office of the Premier, Education and Sports Development, Economic and Enterprise Development, Tourism • North West Parks Board , North West Development Corporations, North West Tourism Board, Dirapeng Golden Leopard Resorts, and Mmabana Together moving Bokone Bophirima.

PROGRESS AND CHALLENGES Risk management is not a standing item in Top Management meetings • North West Transport Investment, North West Parks Board, North West Development Corporations and Dirapeng Slow/ non-implementation of Provincial Risk Management review recommendations by some departments & public entities Slow/ non-implementation of risks treatment plans by some departments & public entities Together moving Bokone Bophirima.
