  3. TheAward Objectives To recognize and honor outstanding achievement in the fulfillment of the purposes of JCIHK by LOMs, or Individual Members

  4. The Award Award Types

  5. World Congress Awards Nomination • Only NC Awards submission will be entitled to have the chance to be nominated for WC awards. • In order to serve as the World Congress Awards, currency in USD is requested. • Chapter are requested to submit in both NC and World Congress ebidbook entry in jci.cc webpage separately. JCI Best of the Best • Winning Awards will automatically enter into World Congress Awards Nomination. (Most Outstanding Member) • For those divided into 3 catalogies, JCIHK WC judging panel will decide ONE from 3 Catalogue (Most Outstanding Local Chapter & Most Outstanding Chapter President). JCI Multi Entry • The Top 5 Scores will be submitted to World Congress

The Award "Through-Train" Awards • Most Outstanding Member • Most Outstanding Chapter President • Best Community Empowerment Program • Best Long-term Community Program • Best Economic Development Program • Best Personal Skill Development Program • Best Inter-organization Collaboration Program • Best Growth & Development Program • Best UNMDG Award • Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program • Best World Peace Project (Best Local OMOIYARI Project) • Best Chapter of the Area

  7. The Award Award Year The “Award Year” starts from one month prior to the 2012 Junior Chamber International Hong Kong National Convention to one month prior to the 2013 National Convention. The date of the Opening Ceremony will be used for this calculation August 21, 2012 to August 20, 2013 (with one week allowance)

  14. The Entries Eligibilities Group A: Individuals Group B: NOM Group C: LOMs Group D: LOMs • Only 1 entry for each award • 1 project for 1 entry

The Entries Award Year • The “Award Year” starts from one month prior to the 2012 Junior Chamber International Hong Kong National Convention to one month prior to the 2013 National Convention. • The date of the Opening Ceremony will be used for this calculation • August 21, 2012 to August 20, 2013 • (with one week allowance) • Must complete any program or project submitted for an award during the current award year • For continuing programs and projects, a major portion of the activity should have been taken place during this period

When? • Aug 6 – Sep 02, 2013 (Monday) • No later than 8pm • By Hard Copy (Marks will be deducted if late submission, Hard copy will not be accepted after 8pm of the day.) How? • Create & Edit Entry : 1. by the web tool (www.jci.cc) 2. by MS Word or other document tools • Confirm your online entry by Sep 02, 2013 (20:00) • Submit hard copies to JC office with a USB or CD (as backup) • Completed entry must be approved by LOM Ps

Submission Submission Procedure Both Through Train & Local Awards Submission Deadline: Sep 02, 20:00(Mon) Steps: Signed by LOM P Submit to JC Office JC office will date and sign (for both Hard copy & USB Received) Re-confirm your entry summary on arrival 5. Late submission – 5 points penalty to such concerned entry Remarks: No acceptance after 10 pm • Through Train Awards ONLY • Submission Deadline: • Sep 02, 20:00 (Mon) • Remarks: • Should be certified to • be true and correct by LOM P • Approval by LOM P • Save a USB for backup Submission Deadline: Aug 16 (Fri), 23:59 Document: Pre-Entry Form (www.jcihk.org) Steps: 1.
