Getting Started • Don't worry about not being courageous enough for the uncertainty of the business world, as being an entrepreneur has nothing to do with courage • Look for a big idea, and be rational • Start small • When faced with the fear of giving up a secure job, concentrate on the equally frightening possibility of someday looking back with regret • Have a backup plan

  5. Maintaining and Nurturing • Add value • Attract great people to join your cause and to remain committed • Get the right financial backers • Be ready to constantly adjust to changing realities

  6. Moving On • Persistence is good, but too much of a good thing can be terrible in some cases • Even if you succeed, it may be time to call it quits
