  4. Primary • EYFS – 50% reached good level of development compared to 52% nationally • KS1 – All above national average • KS2 – Attainment all above national average – Progress – 1% point below national average • Gaps – CiC widening – SEND widening – FSM narrowed by 7%

In Derbyshire, Excellence Means: • All our schools and settings judged to be good or better by 2017 • All our learners achieve above that expected nationally • There are no gaps in progress for learners with DSEN, who are looked after, who are eligible for free school meals or are from an ethnic minority group • All teaching across our schools and settings is at least good with a high proportion of outstanding

In Derbyshire, Excellence Means: cont’d • Maintain attendance levels across our schools and settings above the national average • Maintain persistence absence levels across our schools and settings so that they remain below the national average • There are no incidences of permanent exclusions • There are fewer incidences of fixed term exclusions than the national average
