  2. Week 1 • 11/15- List three of Ms. Stevens’s expectations for you this trimester. • 11/16List your three top priorities. • 11/17-After listing your parent’s top values for you evaluate them. How do they differ from your current values and do you believe you should be following their values more so than your own?

  3. Week 2 • 11/21-Identify resources? Name three resources you think you need to be successful. • 11/22-Define Time Management. Based on your definition, are you a good time manager? Happy Thanksgiving!

  4. Week 3 • 11/28- How do you make decisions? • 11/29- What do you think is the hardest part when making a decision? • 11/30- Take a personal moment and reflect over your experiences in life and ask yourself, Have I ever made a decision that has changed the course of my life? If you do not feel you have made a decision that had changed your life, is there someone you know who has? • 12/1- What are simple actions you or your friends could take to unsure the safety of yourself or others. • 12/2-After studying values, decision making and goal setting; what conclusions can you make in order to implement better habits in your life?

  5. Week 4 • 12/5- Take the first 10 minutes of class and study for unit exam. • 12/6- How do you, personally, develop friendships with others? • 12/7- Analyze how specific emotions affect a relationship • 12/8 -Define verbal and nonverbal communication • 12/9- Describe how to give feedback

Week 5 • 12/12- After watching the beginning of Tuesday’s with Morrie, what listening skills have you seen or lack there of? • 12/13- Explain how tone, body language, and image send messages to others. • 12/14- Identify the skills needed for good leadership • 12/15-Explain what it takes to be a good follower • 12/16-Identify what you can volunteer to do in your community

Week 6 • 1/2-In your words define conflict and explain what causes it • 1/3-Describe the positive results of conflicts • 1/4- Explain the six steps in resolving conflicts. • 1/5-Identify three dangers of alienating people and list two consequences of doing so. • 1/6- List the five characteristics of cooperative team players

  8. Week 7 • 1/9 List the 5 stages of the Family Life Cycle. • 1/10- Define Family Support System. Why is it important to families? • 1/11- Assess the impact of current social trends on family life • 1/12- Describe ways to build a strong family • 1/13- Describe the changes that occur in families
