  1. PAINLESS DENTISTRY

  2. Pain is the daily burden that many of us carry around. The agony of tooth pain would make our entire body fear from stepping a foot forward into the dentist’s office. Surprisingly it not the dental procedure that terrifies us but just the thought of having a needle pierced into the cheek or having a caries filled or a tooth being pulled out.

  3. A lot of people are so phobic, anxious and afraid that people sometimes prefer to bear the brunt of their nervous system than to actually get rid of it. According to the surveys, the size of the needle and the sound and the drill are the two most feared objects in the dental office.

  4. m b dental is here to help But don’t worry! M B Dental Home is just the place where you ease out your worries. With the use of topical anaesthetic agents dental procedures can be made easy and comfortable. Routine dental care, regular cleaning, scaling and root planning can be completed with the use of topically administered anaesthetic agent.

  5. Anaesthetic Agent Topical anaesthetic agents have a capacity to penetrate up to 2 mm to 3 mm. It is available in gel, liquid, ointment, patch and pressurized spray forms. Its application varies from scaling and root planning, soft tissue and palatal procedures, pre-injection numbing, placement of orthodontic brackets, taking impressions and intra-oral radiographs. For more complex procedures a local anaesthetic agent is required.

  6. Anaesthetic Agent The most common anaesthetics used in dentistry are those containing benzocaine or lidocaine. The local anaesthetic agent anaesthetizes a larger quadrant of the mouth leaving the patient completely pain free in the region the body, thereby helping the dentist to complete the procedure comfortably.
