  2. The Celts • They came to England from Germany.   3. The Romans • They came to England (55BC). • England became part of the Roman Empire. • They founded London and lots of cities. • The Emperor Hadrian built a wall to keep the aggressive Scots out of England.

  4. The Anglo-Saxons • The Anglo-Saxons invaded England in 450 AD. • They came from Northern parts of Europe and they had a Germanic language. • We can considered this language the first form of English, the Old English. • They divided England into 8 different kingdoms.
