Economic Inclusion InitiativeBOLD: Building Opportunities by Leveraging Diversity • Establishing voluntary goals for SBEs, MBEs, and WBEs, and tracking Veterans and Disabled-Owned Businesses • Establishing a BOLD Vendor Registration Listing • Providing guidance & assistance to small, diverse and many other types of businesses. • Establishing regular diversity and inclusiveness training for staff as well as on-going Economic Inclusion Improvement Projects.

BOLD Building Opportunities by Leveraging Diversity • Quarterly “How to Do Business with Hamilton County” Workshops • Referrals for specialized training for small and diverse contractors on bonding, financing, planning, technology, sustainability, and partnerships • Participate in Match-maker events for subcontractors and primes • Promotion of small, diverse, and other companies that want to do business with Hamilton County • Process improvement training for managers and staff

  8. BidSync • BidSync is a tool that allows Hamilton County to electronically post and distribute bid and quote information. • This system is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week from any computer that has internet access. • Bids and Quotes are advertised here and on County website

Bldg.– Accounting Update- $7 million • Courthouse- Roofing $6.5 million • Courthouse- Windows $4.6 million • Juvenile Justice Center – Concrete $635 thousand • Admin. Bldg. - Computer System $ 2 million • SPCA. –Interior & Ext. Renov. $4 million

Products /Services Needed • 2018-2022 Capital Budget – Potentially $197 Million Total Individual Projects –First year or two: • Coroner’s Bldg – New Construction - $35 million • Courthouse- Renovations $6.4 million • Justice Center- Renovations $1.4 million • Wm Howard Taft Law Bldg-Roofing $1.4 million • Environ. Services Bldg.- Windows $967 thousand • Juvenile Court Bldg. –Exterior Renov. $13.5 million

  11. Additional Upcoming Opportunities • Facilities– $3 million in materials and supplies; and $1 million in janitorial. Must be Green Seal Certified • JFS- $14 million interior renovation project • Townships- CDBC development Grants from Hamilton County – A total of $4.2 million this coming year • Ongoing Hamilton County opportunities: Asphalt, Concrete, Gravel, Vegetation Removal, Tree Removal
