  1. Wicking out wickedness

  2. Genesis 6:5-8 The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the Lord said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth — men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air — for I am grieved that I have made them." 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. NIV

WICKEDNESS “PONĒRIA” (EPHESIANS 6:12) • DEPRAVITY, INIQUITY,” OR “MALICE” • MALICE: TO DO EVIL WITH PURPOSE, DESIRES, AND DOING SO WITH INTENT • AN INTENTIONAL COMMISSION OF A WRONGFUL ACT AND IS ABSENT FROM ANY JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PERSON COMMITTING IT.  • THE INTENT TO CAUSE HARM TO OTHERS (MOST OF ALL GOD) AND IS A CONSCIOUS VIOLATION OF THE LAW THAT INJURES AN INDIVIDUAL OR INDIVIDUALS.  IN THIS CASE, IT NEVER INJURES GOD BUT DOES INJURE THOSE WITH WHOM IT IS DIRECTED AND AGAINST AND CERTAINLY INJURES THE PERSON COMMITTING SUCH A THING SINCE THE WAGES OF ALL SIN IS DEATH (ROM 6:23A).

  7. Isaiah 28:16-18 "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed. 17 I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place. 18 Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the grave will not stand. NIV

  8. wicking • The action to move moisture by capillaryaction from the inside to the surface • The act of god removing or drawing wickedness from within the heart, spirit, soul and body of man.

  9. WICKING OUT WICKEDNESS

  10. 2 Peter 2:15-16 15 They have left the straightway and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness. 16 But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey — a beast without speech — who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness. NIV

  11. Revelation 2:14-15 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality. NIV

  12. Lessons from Balaam A spirit of whoredoms/Prostitiution and abominations is also being released in these last days to prevent you from obtaining the promises of God. This temptation happened to Israel right as they were prepared to enter the promised land. They had overcome 40 years in the wilderness and were right on the edge of victory.

  13. No one can take your Godly inheritance away from you, but you can compromise it through disobedience and idolatry. Remember, the Moabites were powerless against Israel until Israel opened up the door through sin.

  14. We must stay before God and ask that our motives and hearts be kept pure.If there is any part of you that still wants something from this world, you will find a way to skirt along God's commands - giving an appearance of obedience, while you really seek after that which your heart is set upon. While we can try to fool others, even ourselves, we cannot fool God.

  15. 2 Cor 6:14-7:1 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people." 17 "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you." 18 "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." 7 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. NIV

  16. RomANS 6:11-14 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. NIV

  17. Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12 It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. NIV

  18. 2 TimOTHY 2:19 Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." NIV

  19. Hebrews 8:12-13 12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." 13 By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
