Conception. Who we are. We are a school for all pupils. 600 pupils are educated in 26 classes. Every child can learn successfully in our primary and comprehensive school in our district, where everybody knows everyone. We are a school for all recommendations. We demand and promote.

  2. Who we are We are a school for all pupils. 600 pupils are educated in 26 classes. Every child can learn successfully in our primary and comprehensive school in our district, where everybody knows everyone. We are a school for all recommendations.

We demand and promote Our lessons • are internal differentiated (individual request levels) • are partly manned with two teachers • are sometimes across class • are achievement- and method orientated • offer from year 7 in the core subjects open standard- and higher grade courses (open, depending on progress achievements), yet maintaining the classroom community • prepare for all graduations (secondary I and II) • promote pupils who work at a lower pace • further encourage pupils who are fast learners • contain a wide range in the areas of music / art and sport • strengthen social skills

  4. We are an open day school There is/are • several workshops/ groups in the afternoon • lunch with a choice of different meals in the school canteen • daily homework help and supervision • courses to support and to promote the pupils • an internet café • a student library • student mediators

  5. Special features of the comprehensive school • We have a cooperation with the Friedrich-List-School in the advanced higher section (A-level for different professional careers) • Spanish from year 7 • Workshop classes • Elective subjects from year 7 • “Klassenrat” • Methods training • In year 5 a trip for getting to know each other better • School trips in year 7/9/10 • Inclusive classes first aiders

Special features of the primary school • Mini-School Early Intervention Project • Inclusive classes • Computer lessons from year 1 • Chess project as a part of the math lessons in year 2 • Assertiveness courses in all primary classes • Student mediators • Daily supervised elementary school between 7.30 am to 4.00 pm • Special support in Math and German

School Building • All classrooms are networked and have internet access. • Our school extension includes new classrooms, differentiating spaces and new modern subject rooms (physics, chemistry, biology, art). • A new 3-field sports hall will be finished by summer 2013. • There are two computer labs with 60 workstations including internet access.
