  4. Personal Network • This involves people you have personal access to. My personal network consists of the following people: My husband-techie extraordinaire Eileen D.- Peer Tutor & colleague Kathy S.-Computer teacher & friend Veronica R.-Spanish teacher and friend Susan K.-Special Education Teacher, friend, & my technology “guinea pig”

  5. Professional Subject Matter Experts • The experts may be colleagues or people you never met. They assist you with up to date technology that enhances your subject.   7. In the Future… I plan to continue learning about various educational technology. This will be a life long process. Here are some areas of interest for me. • Podcasts • Windows Movie Maker • Blogs • Web Sites • Wikis

  8. Podcasts • According to Lorrie Jackson (n.d.), “a podcast is simply an audio -- and sometimes a video -- recording made available online”.

  9. Movie Maker • Movie Maker allows the user to create movies and slide shows on their computer. It is a great tool for someone new to digital video editing.

  10. Blogs • According to Dictionary.com (n.d.), a blog is “a Web site where an individual or group posts their own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other Web sites”.

  11. Web Site • The American Heritage Science Dictionary (n.d.)defines it as “A set of interconnected web pages, usually including a homepage, generally located on the same server, and prepared and maintained as a collection of information by a person, group, or organization”.

  12. Wiki • It’s a Website that allows authorized users and visitors to view, add, correct, or change information in the specified space.
