  2. 1. False Teachers • Proverbs 12:17 • 17He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. (cf. Matt. 7:15-16) • 1 John 4:1 • 1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. • 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 • 13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

I will seek it yet again.

Satan • 2 Corinthians 11:3 • 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. • Revelation 12:9 • 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. • 1 Peter 5:8 • 8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. • cf. 2 Thess. 2:9-12 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

  6. 5.Not Reaping What You Sow • Galatians 6:7-8 • 7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. • Hosea 8:7 • 7For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
